First, this picture, or should I say, the lack of one! I didn't get a good picture before the family started to devour this on Easter Sunday. This potato salad is what my family was raised on! We all love it! It's made a appearance at holidays, barbecues, birthdays, and everything in between.

It's not your typical potato salad. Living in Texas now, most of the potato salads that you find are made with dill pickles, and they're good! Don't get me wrong! They just aren't THIS potato salad. It's all due to the creamy sauce that is cooked up, then poured over the potato mixture.

I can still see my Grandma when this dish is on the table. And maybe that's another reason why it's our family favorite. It takes us back in time to where we were all gathered together. There was always lots of laughter and wonderful food. Here's to the special memories, then and now.
